Hello, I am Kamerin McDuffie, the Founder and President of A World of STEM. Currently, I am an honors senior majoring in Pre-Medical Biology with a minor in Spanish. My future goals include earning a doctorate and addressing healthcare inequalities in underserved communities. Specifically, I aim to specialize in dermatology, focusing on the healthcare needs of Latino and African American patients.

My name is Brandon Artis, I am a co-founder of A World of Stem, and will be the Vice President for this school year. I am a rising third-year honors biology student. After I obtain my undergraduate degree I plan to conduct biological research in the field of immunology of infectious diseases.

Myla Wallace

Secretary

My name is Myla Wallace and I will be serving as the Secretary for this school year. I am a junior honors biology pre-med student and plan on obtaining my Doctorate of Dental Surgery to pursue a career in dentistry and open my own practice.

Nyla Baxter

Community Outreach

My name is Nyla Baxter and this year I will serve as the Community Outreach Chair for A World of STEM! I am a sophomore honors chemical engineering scholar and I aspire to solve the world’s problems in either the biotechnology or pharmaceutical field as a chemical engineer. Eventually, I would like to have my own organization where I teach kids in my community about STEM education!

My name is Kortnei McMurray and I will be the Social Media Co-Chair for this school year. I am currently a junior marketing student. My career aspiration is to leverage my analytical skills and creative thinking in a dynamic marketing role. I am dedicated to developing and executing impactful campaigns that effectively connect with our target audience, driving business growth and meeting organizational goals.

My name is Ryan Smith and I will be serving as the Chief of Staff for this school year. I am a junior honors psychology student with aspirations of becoming a pediatric psychiatrist while specifically focusing on the mental health of African American children.

Jonathan Richards 

Programming Chair

My name is Johnathan Richards and I will be the Programming Co-Chair for this school year. I am a second year honors computer science student and my goal is to foster a new generation of cybersecurity professionals so our communities and online services are more secure! Through my love of technology I hope and strive to one day implement all of my skills into protecting our online world more. Plus I am always looking to feed my knowledge and simple positivity to our youth who will be our leaders in the future.

My name is Char’Rae Chaires and I will be the Social Media Chair this school year. I am currently a junior biology student. My ultimate career aspiration is to become a pediatrician, as I have a deep passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.

My name is Lauren Raven and I will be the Treasurer for this school year. I am a rising senior majoring in secondary mathematics education. My current aspirations are to become a teacher and then transition into an e-learning developer role after receiving my masters degree and gaining a few years of experience in the classroom. I am deeply passionate about mathematics and am excited to use technology to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences for my future students.

My name is Genesis Griffin and I will be the Creative Director for this school year. I am currently a second-year student majoring in biology, following a pre-medical track. My ultimate goal is to become a general surgeon and engage in philanthropic endeavors.
